Introduction to Health and Safety

This 1 day course is designed to give employers and managers an overview of the requirements under health and safety legislation. Students will look at an introduction to Health and Safety Law, How Risk Assessments contribute to Health and Safety, How to Identify and Control the Risks from Common Workplace Hazards, The procedures for responding to accidents and incidents in a workplace. The Cost of The Course Includes a comprehensive manual and Certification. Course For Up To 14 People £400.

Manual Handling Objects

This ½ day course gives people the principles in manual handling. It looks at what is manual handling. The Risks associated with manual Handling and how to carry out a Manual Handling Risk Assessment. The cost of the course includes a manual and Certification. Course for up to 12 people £250.

Manual Handling People

This ½ day course is designed for those working in the care industry. It will give students the essential information and understanding of how to move people safely whilst preventing injury to themselves or the person being moved. The course is carried out at your premises so as to ensure staff are made familiar with the equipment used on site. Prior to the course our trainer will contact you to discuss your exact requirements. The cost of the course includes certification. Course for maximum 8 people £250.

Principles of COSHH

This ½ day course is designed to give managers and people using substances Hazardous to health an overview of the legislation associated with this. It is taught by trainers who have had experience working with a vast variety of hazardous substances. The cost of the course includes a comprehensive manual and certification. Course Cost for 12 people is £250.

Fire Marshal

This ½ day course is designed for those acting in the role of Fire Marshal within their workplace. The course will look at the legislation regarding Fire in the workplace. The risks associated with Fire. The role of the Fire Marshal, during an emergency, and during normal work times. The principles associated with a Fire Risk Assessment. Students will have opportunity to use First Aid Fire Appliances in order to identify the principles of operation associated with these. The course cost includes certification and a comprehensive manual. Cost of a course limited to a maximum 12 students £350.
