Our Courses
First Aid at Work (FAW)

This course meets the HSE requirements for the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981. The course is run over 3 days and contains both theory and practical sessions. It can be adapted to suit your company's circumstances (e.g. Clerical office or engineering workshop.) These courses are run on dates to suit you. We also run open courses if you just have one or two people needing this qualification at a time. Requalification courses of Two Days duration are also available. The next full open courses will run, 24-26 Apr 2017, 17 - 19 May 2017, 5-7 Jun 2017 in Telford.

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

This is a basic level First Aid course and meets the HSE requirements as such it is designed for small or low risk workplaces such as small offices or some shops. This is a one day course with both theory and practical sessions. We normally run at least one course a month, dates can be arranged. The next open courses are 31 Jan 17, 6 Mar 17, 22 May 17, 15 Jun, 13 Jul 2017

First Person On The Scene Intermediate (FPOS)

The First Person On Scene Intermediate course is designed to take the First Aider on to the next skill level, you will be taught the skills associated with rapid assessment, stabilisation and transfer of both the trauma victim and those suffering a medical emergency. The course is approved by Edexcel and is IHCD managed.
The course runs over 5 days. It includes both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, designed to develop a good, all round First Responder. This is an intensive course and students should have a desire to learn. We intend to run this course 24 - 28 Oct subject to sufficent interest.

Automated External Defibrillation

Defibrillation is the only known therapy for cardiac arrest. The scientific evidence in support of their use is overwhelming.
We offer half day courses that conform to current resuscitation council guidelines, in order to ensure that you have staff trained in the use of this equipment.

Paediatric First Aid Introduction

This one day course focuses on delivering First aid for babies and children. It is ideally suited for parents and babysitters. The course fulfils the requirements of the voluntary section of the OFSTED register. Complete courses of up to 12 people can be booked by organisations at a cost of around 300. Paediatric First Aid Advanced

This two day course delivers First Aid training that focuses on babies and children. It is designed for those that work full time with babies or children such as nursery workers. The course fulfils the requirements of the compulsory section of the OFSTED register. We limit course sizes to 12 people and these can be booked by organisations at a cost of around 475. We run these courses at times to suit you and for no extra cost. For further information please contact us.
